The awardees are expected to study well and maintain their high levels of achievement. When they finish their studies and start earning, each awardee is expected to give back to the Foundation at least what they received from it, preferably more, so that another student like him or her can be given a similar scholarship. |

Jyotika BJ is the first recipient of Manu Foundation's Stepping Stones Scholarship. She has completed her undergraduate studies at St Pius College for Women, Tarnaka, Secunderabad. |

Roney Devasia, the second recipient of Manu Foundation's Stepping Stones Scholarship, completed his undergraduate studies at National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad and is working as a free lance cartoon animator. |

B Srinivas, the third recipient of Manu Foundation's Stepping Stones Scholarship, has completed his MCA at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, and has taken up employment with an MNC. |
